Hi guys, I am new here and would need your help. I 'used to own' a PS2 with ToxicOS with DMS4 modchip. Now I just got a CECHA12 and softmodded with Rebug 4.82. Since those old days with hard drive, I use software to trim down ISO for PS2 and PSP. I want to trim down the iso for PS2 and PSP but I cannot remember if it is UMDGen or other software. I remember that the most save ISO is Metal Slug since it stuff a lot of dummy files and result in under 100MB instead of over 1 Gigabyte file.

Any advise which software I should use for that? Is it UMDGen or another software? Thanks and regards, Volospin. There is no software for that purpose which would automatically find dummies and kill them, as many games is LBA protected. CDGenPS2 is tool for creating PS2 CD disc images. CDVDGen (shortcut from CD/DVD Generator) is licensed tool from SDK/RTL to creating any disc images (yeah, official). UMDGen, as name should telling You is designed for PSP games, and AFAIR cannot anything trim, just compress to.cso,.jso or.dax.PPF patches cannot trim anything because they are comparing type patches.
What they can hipotetically do, was patching LBA tables in games which using them, but of course user must follow the new LBA during creating disc image.
